The Florina Art Gallery

The Florina Artists Gallery is a distinctive cultural institution dedicated to local artistic production, featuring works created exclusively by artists from Florina and the wider region, while also enjoying nationwide recognition.

It is housed in a traditional former railway station building of the Hellenic Railways Organization, highlighting the connection between contemporary art and historic architecture.

The gallery’s collection includes approximately 90 works of painting and sculpture, as well as drawings, photo-sketches, constructions, and holograms. Special emphasis is also placed on works by earlier folk and academic artists of the interwar period, in order to highlight the historical dimension of the region’s artistic production.

Beyond its permanent exhibition, the Gallery functions as a dynamic cultural institution with strong educational and social activity. It organizes exhibitions, art symposiums, music concerts, literary evenings, and academic conferences, often in collaboration with cultural and educational organizations from Greece and abroad. In this way, it contributes significantly to the promotion of art and the cultivation of culture in the region.
