Marika Kotopouli Museum
The Marika Kotopouli Museum is located in the municipality of Zografou in Athens, Greece.
It is housed in the historic summer residence of the renowned Greek actress Marika Kotopouli, a building constructed in the early 20th century and later declared a preserved heritage site. After careful restoration, the villa was transformed into a cultural venue and officially opened as a museum in 1990.
Today, the museum does not focus on personal belongings of Kotopouli herself but functions as a contemporary cultural and exhibition space. It hosts temporary art exhibitions, cultural events, and also permanently houses the art collection of Konstantinos Ioannidis. In this way, it combines architectural heritage with modern artistic activity, serving as an active center of cultural life in the area.
