Our Temporary Exhibitions dive into exciting themes, combining electronic games with cinema, photography, music, and other forms of art. The temporary exhibition Pixel and Sound at the Video Games Museum explores the unique relationship between sound, music, and video games, highlighting how audio has always been a fundamental element of the gaming experience. From early 8-bit sound effects to contemporary, multi-layered musical compositions and interactive music-driven games, the exhibition presents the evolution of sound as a narrative, technological, and artistic medium.
