Natural History Museum Thessaloniki
The museum is housed in a specially designed 500 sq. m. space within Building A of the School of Forestry and Natural Environment at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), in Finikas, Thessaloniki.
Its exhibits have been collected over a period of 40 years and include more than 200 different species.
The museum also features aquariums that host 10 representative species of Greece’s freshwater fish fauna. Through its collection, it aims to highlight the diversity of aquatic ecosystems in Greece and promote awareness of environmental and biological conservation.
The exhibition combines scientific research with educational presentation, making it an important resource for students, researchers, and visitors interested in ichthyology and natural history.
